Roleplay Regulations
If you have any further questions, comments, or concerns regarding the information stated here, please direct yourself to a support ticket.
Evading Law Enforcement or staff will result in moderation actions.
Combat logging is not allowed within GVRS. If you are involved in a staff scene and need to urgently leave, notify the staff member at the scene before you leave.
You must stay at a staff scene until a staff member has given you permission to leave.
Bypassing red lights is not allowed. You are required to wait for the light to turn green.
Driving banned vehicles without the proper roles or permissions will result in a warning and ban from the active session.
Before you start role-playing, make sure vehicle collisions are turned on.
Interfering or involving yourself in scenes that do not concern you is not allowed and will result in a session kick depending on the severity.
Civilians are not allowed to use department vehicles without the proper roles within GVRS Discord.
Staff are the only ones allowed to void proper scenes. If someone is caught abusing this permission, please report it. You must also abide by staff orders.
You are required to roleplay all crashes that occur above the speed of 25 MPH.
Unrealistic vehicle colors are not allowed. Example: Bright Pink, Bright Lime, Bright Yellow, Chrome, etc.
Replicating any sort of banned roleplay is not allowed. Banned roleplays include drug roleplays, gang roleplays, suicide roleplays, and gore. Roleplays, protest roleplays, and "lynching" roleplays.
Receiving 5 tickets in the span of 1 month will ultimately lead to a warning. Be wary and cautious of emergency services.
Cop baiting is never allowed. This includes speeding in front of a cop on purpose, reckless driving, etc.
When drifting is allowed, you're only allowed to drift in the right lane only.
You're not allowed to hog the rest of the lanes.
Donuts are never allowed unless the host specifies that they are. If it is, you are only allowed to do it on private property.
Off-roading is never allowed. You're required to be on the road at all times.
You are only allowed to be on the 'Criminal' team if you are given priority by the host.
You are not allowed to cruise with more than 2 people in the same looking car as this can be accounted for as cop baiting.
If you're being pulled over by a Law Enforcement Officer, you're required to pull over no matter the peacetime status. You will only be exempt if given priority.
Once you've spawned, you're required to park up and stand in front of your car. This also includes not switching teams.
If you're going to be joining a team (Superwhich, Twist, etc.) you're required to roleplay/work as it.
You're no longer allowed to use the excuse "This car is new and I have Proof of Sale". If your car isn't registered, the LEO is allowed to cite you for it.
You must receive staff permission to respawn your vehicle by stating "!staff respawn perms" or something along those lines in chat. The only places you are free to respawn your vehicle without needing permission are your claimed residence, motel, DMV, a friend's residence, or an empty parking lot.
